Situated along the Oslofjord, the city of Horten has got a very special research center.
The “Kystverket National Center for Testing oil and spill response equipment” is testing and developing all kind of equipment to combat acute oil pollution of the oceans. Their indoor 30m x 7m salt water basin with realistic environment conditions allows a full scale testing. WOW took care of the waves in this real laboratory pool.
